National Weather Service issues Red Flag Warning

A Red Flag Warning is in effect for part of Southern New England on Saturday due to dry, windy weather leading to critical fire weather conditions. Winds gusting over 30 mph combined with relatively humidity as low as 13% means a significant threat of fast-spreading brush fires in areas that no longer have a snowpack. See the text below from the National Weather Service for more details.
