Video Update: Wed-Fri Nor’easter

A major late-winter storm will likely have a big impact from Chicago to Washington DC Tuesday into Wednesday. By late Wednesday through Thursday into Friday, the storm will be moving into the Atlantic Ocean and bringing nasty weather to Southern New England. There are a several weather hazards that may impact Southern New England from this storm.

  • Heavy, wet snow leading to downed tree limbs and power lines
  • Heavy rain leading to street, stream, and river flooding
  • Strong, damaging winds leading to downed tree limbs and power lines
  • Moderate coastal flooding for several high tide cycles leading to significant beach erosion
